Clarksville medical practice to pay $2.8M over allegations involving improper billing practices

After being accused of violating the False Claims Act by improperly billing Medicare and TRICARE for services provided by non-physician practitioners, Clarksville-based Premier Medical Group has agreed to pay a settlement of nearly $3 million to the U.S., officials announced earlier this week.
