(KRON) -- The Oakland Police Department is asking for the public’s help in solving the 2022 homicide of David Sakurai.
Sakurai was shot on Sept. 28 in the 8200 block of Fontaine Street, according to OPD.
Police said officers responded to a shooting at the King Estate Campus that injured six people, including Sakurai. He died from his injuries on Nov. 17.

“The Homicide Section is again releasing a brief video showing the suspected shooters prior to the incident. OPD is sharing this video to help identify and locate those responsible for Sakurai’s death,” said police in a news release Friday.
